you don't know cool cat. or maybe you do, idk. he's one of my guys and i explore strip-format comic with him and his friends. and i decided to get back on that and try to draw a cool cat strip again every day (ish). we will see how this goes. so, here is cool cat no. 19:

it, of course, is a reference to the nancy strip from august 8th, 1959.

the previous 18 cool cat strips are on instagram. i just didn't feel like cleaning this one up for an ig post, it's far too late and i'm far too headachy for that.

i really like krolestwo_krukow's diploma project. it's so good.

i love her art generally but this...the mixture of linocut and handdrawn animation. augh. and her style is so solid. i love how she simplifies reality in this very sober but warm way, idk how to describe it. it's just nice. go have a look at the whole thing!! it's animated!!

i love the make a terrible comic day website.

i found it today when i looked up the date of make a terrible comic day because i saw it noted in my calendar and wanted to double-check since i have missed the changing of a comic-related event's date once before and i don't wanna make it a habit. (it's june 24 btw)

anyway. the website is great. simple. to the point. i like looking at it and liked being on it. i like a small website dedicated to a silly thing.

i especially like the last bit in th FAQ section. that's mostly the reason why i'm telling you about it.
